  Fountain Fun (2026)

Fountain Fun is a collaborative sculpture created with the artists Elkin Kutluer and Kamila Kulambayeva. Together we explored the meaning of hangout, the potential of fountains and spending time with water. For this installation we wanted to turn the classic exhibition space into a hangout and an interactive piece. The sound of water followed people through the room and created a special athmosphere. High up the wall there is a metal carfe installed, an element of surprise hinting at a hierarchy similar to the force of public fountains. In collaboration with the kazakh artist Kamila Kulambayeva we sew and desigend fabric quilts that are our own interpretation of көрпе, quilts commonly used in Kazakh households to host guests, sit on the floor and eat and sleep in a room together.

Souvenir, 2026

The façade of the city comes undone in Souvenir where it appears in the form of an ice cube melting. The sound of its droplets reverberates through the space, until its inside is revealed. The work in the context of the exhibition Fleeting Arrangements together wir Tao Hai Yue, questions the conditions of permanance and uncovers the instability of place and meaning.

The sculpture and installation deals with the alltime fantasy of becoming a figure skater. Video footage from inside the hurricane Melissa (2025), is layered with archival video footage of figure skaters from international competitions between 1988 and 2006. Inbetween beautifully choreographed sections of perfect choreographies, the skater falls at times and breaks with the perfect image of the ice princess.

Panorama, 2026

Panorama, monumentalizes personal archives of photographs taken on my phone. Rather than depicting specific moments, Panorama plays with recurring symbols as well as stretched and oversaturated images – altering memories, shifting perceptions, and resulting in ambiguity.

ABSOLUTION REVOLUTION, 2025 

Together with Sofia Helena, I co-created an interactive treasure hunt for Quo Vadis, a 24-hour performance festival at St. Katharinenkirche in Frankfurt am Main. The performance invited participants to explore the church as a space of witnessing and connection, following clues, performing small rituals, and reflecting on themes of shame, visibility, and communal care.

A Dyke Utopia (2024-2025)

A Dyke Utopia is a collection of queer emotional landscapes, perspectives, and visibilities. The video installation explores the ambivalences within lesbian relationships. I observe others, and they look back. Between us, a temporary space emerges, seeming to exist both as reality and fantasy. A Dyke Utopia offers an atmospheric glimpse into this landscape, shaped by constant negotiation and engagement with the outside world and one another. Temporality serves as a means to challenge norms, while fantasies become spaces where we settle and find belonging.

Look at me, Horse (2011), 2026

Look at Me, horse is a mixed media collage with a picture I took in 2011 and my friend‘s new years tin casting objects.

T-Shirt mit 2 Käfern drauf da drüber ein Bolero (2022) 

The objects depicted in detail within the photographs speak of personal memories. Fragmentary close-ups and a mystifying use of side lighting create the impression that emotions and experiences are woven into the images themselves. The family photos included bring their own stories into the work, making the interplay between the depicted image and the photographic medium itself evident.

The combination of original photographs and found-footage drawings offers a universal perspective, connecting with the viewer’s own horizon of experience. The tableau-like, free arrangement further enhances these open spaces for association.

zaman su gibi akar (time flows like water), 2023 

A person waves to someone, the waves crash in the glow of dusk, the order of things blurs and repeats itself - we wait, though sometimes we’re not even sure what for. It’s unclear what came first, the sunset or the sunrise.

The three-channel video installation explores the complexity of waiting (and waiting for something to pass). Daily routines take on an almost ritualistic quality. The view from the window meets the anonymity of urban life. The soundscape weaves into a collage of elements from the external and domestic worlds. They overlap and flow into each other, like time slipping through our fingers and water carrying us to other shores.
